Session I
Workshop I - Who Speaks to Your Heart - Rev. Melvin Lee - With insight, inspiration, and practical ideas in Who Speaks to Your Heart? This workshop shows you and all women - regardless of the labels placed on you - that your best and most important title is the one given by God...chosen vessel. This workshop is based on Stacy Hawkins Adams book “Who Speaks to Your Heart - Turing In To Hear God’s Whispers.”
Workshop II - Your Spiritual Gifts Can Help Your Church Grow - Rev. Anthony Henderson - This workshop will help you learn about your own gifts and empower your congregation or group to use their specific gifts. Discover the 28 gifts listed in the Bible and how to distinguish them, the difference between gifts, talents and roles, how you can know your individual gifts and use them effectively, and learn five steps to help you build God's kingdom through your gifts. This workshop is based on C. Peter Wagner’s book “Your Spiritual Gifts.”
Workshop III - Twelve Challenges Churches Face - Dr. Harvey Jackson - If you could visit the first-century church in Corinth, you'd encounter a fellowship that's young, vibrant---and plagued with problems. Just like the Corinthians, today's congregations face challenges including division, legalism, autonomy, decline, disobedience, and more. This Workshop is based on Mark Dever’s Book “Twelve Challenges Churches Face.”
Workshop IV - Bridging Generations - Rev. James Nelson
Workshop V - Going All In - Dr. Lynn Danridge
Session II
Workshop I - PULL - Making Your Church Magnetic - Rev. Althea Greene - Outreach, growth, and discipleship are the fruits of a healthy church. If your church is lacking any of these, this workshop has a plan for you to start placing Christ's command to make disciples front and center in your ministry. This workshop will examine what its like to lead a church from spiritual stagnation to incredible growth and outreach. It will show you how to
- create a culture of evangelism
- care for new believers
- lead effective outreach events
- engage in preaching that reaches people
- and more!
Workshop II - Your Authority In Christ - Overcoming strongholds in your life - Rev. Roger R. Brown - This workshop will show you how to exercise your authority in Christ to overcome the enemy. You will discover how Satan works in this world and how he attempts to oppose God, how good and evil spirits operate on the earth, how you can grasp your authority in Christ and overcome the enemy, and how to protect yourself from Satan's attacks by putting on the armor of God. This workshop is based on Neil T. Anderson’s Book “Your Authority In Christ.”
Workshop III - Aqua Church - Piloting Your Church in Today’s Fluid Culture - Rev. D'Arcy Deveaux - Learn how to reshape your ministry---but not your message---to reach a drifting society! This workshop explores the essentials of biblical leadership, including vision, creativity, and teamwork; and shows you how to navigate today's cultural currents to provide a beacon of light to your community. This workshop is based on Leonard Sweet’s book “Aqua Church 2.0.”
Workshop IV - Powering UP: The Fulfillment and fruit of a God-Fueled Life - Rev. Robert West -
